The Town of Banff produces on average 2200 tons of biosolids and 2000 tons of source separated organics per year. The Town of Banff requires this material to be safely transported to a compost facility located in Penhold county. Hauling particulars o Covered end dump trailer and truck o End dump trailers must seal sufficiently to ensure no material is lost in transport o 2-5 trips per week o Due to odor concerns, hauling to commence from the Wastewater Treatment Plant, though the Banff townsite during early morning hours o A front end loader is available to enable loading.
