Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Walkerton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 13,692-square-foot, one-story above grade, seven-bed medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Saugeen Hospice will include seven private resident bedrooms. The seventh bedroom will rotate in and out of service to ensure six beds remain consistently available for residents. The project's scope of work includes cast-in-place foundations, slab-on-grade ground floor, wood framed walls and prefabricated wood trusses to frame the roof. Mechanical and Electrical work include plumbing, in-floor heating, boilers, hotwater re-heat, fan coils, a roof mounted DOAS unit, low and line voltage electrical work, LED lighting, an emergency power generator (natural gas fuel), CCTV, door and glass break security and electronic door hardware.
