The City of Belton is seeking proposals that has a renewable option for one additional clarifier upon completion of this project if agreeable by both the City and the Contractor. The clarifier mechanism and all appurtenant equipment shall be suitable for installation in the existing 70-foot diameter clarifiers at the Belton Wastewater Treatment Plant as indicated in Appendix A, Scope of Work. Incorporated in Project Special Provisions is a circular clarifier mechanism installation specification that was developed to meet the City's design preferences including controls, materials of construction, and keeping the same suction header type as is currently installed. The specification was reviewed by all acceptable manufacturers listed in Appendix A, Part 2.01.
