Construction services are required to renovate the Sterile Processing Service in support of hospital operations. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the renovation in accordance with the issued construction drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, civil and structural work, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, security and electronics systems, demolition, and all other related work required by the contract documents. The project also includes leasing and providing a temporary Sterile Processing Service trailer to allow continuous hospital operations for the full duration of construction. The renovation will be performed under a firm-fixed-price contract, with a period of performance of 720 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, and must meet all applicable VA standards, codes, and technical requirements. The magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000.00 and $50,000,000.00 per VAAR 836.204.
