Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Dorr, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Salem Township is soliciting sealed proposals for the DNR Recreation Passport Pickleball Construction Project. Major work consists of the construction of eight pickleball courts and adjacent seating areas. Additional items include tree removal, protection, and planting; concrete walk and HMA path construction; placing fencing, site furnishings, a salvaged backstop, and a stormwater structure; and slope restoration. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond by a recognized surety in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total of the bid price. After the time of opening, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of Sixty (60) days. Salem Township reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Township. MDNR Grant No. RP24-0050 Question Deadline 09/18/2025: Questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer not less than seven (7) days prior to date of opening of Bids.
