This project involves paving Houser Road east of Eleven Mile Corner Road, which is currently unpaved, to provide a direct east-west connection between State Route 87 (SR-87) and Interstate 10. The paved road will serve as a critical regional route, benefiting the Nikola manufacturing plant, the Procter & Gamble site, and other industrial and residential developments in the area. The project will create an essential east-west corridor, improving access to Interstate 10 and supporting the continued industrial growth in this region of Arizona. Additionally, Houser Road has the potential to extend further east, eventually connecting with the proposed North-South Freeway, enhancing connectivity across Pinal County and linking the cities of Coolidge, Eloy, and Casa Grande, as well as surrounding unincorporated areas. The project is include in the City of Eloy's FY 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
