Renovation of a military facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The contractor shall replace 500 square feet of flooring on the first floor and 1,500 square feet on the second floor of the main station building at USCG Station San Francisco with new commercial-grade, hard-wearing, waterproof luxury vinyl planks (LVP). The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation. Tasks include mobilization, removal of existing flooring, substrate preparation, installation of LVP flooring, trim and finish work, disposal of waste materials, and demobilization. The flooring color will be selected by the technical point of contact. Work must be performed between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise authorized. The contractor must maintain cleanliness throughout the project and restore all areas to their original condition upon completion. All waste must be disposed of in accordance with industry standards and environmental regulations. The government will provide electricity, parking, and laydown area, but bathroom facilities will not be available for contractor personnel. As required by FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Offers submitted must be valid for a minimum of 30 calendar days. Offerors interested in a site visit prior to solicitation closing must notify the contracting officer and contract specialist immediately to facilitate access to the worksite. Attendance at a site visit is not mandatory and will not influence the outcome of this procurement. The intent of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to have the contractor replace 500 square feet of flooring on the first floor and 1500 square feet of flooring on the second floor with new commercial grade, hard-wearing, waterproof luxury vinyl planks (LVP) in the main station building at USCG Station San Francisco, located on Yerba Buena Island, San Francisco, CA. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the installation. The color of the flooring will be chosen by the customer. a. Carefully remove the existing flooring on 500 square feet of the first floor and 1500 square feet of the second floor, ensuring all debris is properly managed and contained.
