Project Overview Agency: United States Coast Guard Location: Base Galveston, 3000 Fort Point Road, Galveston, TX 77550 Project Title: Replacement of Damaged Roof Eave and Soffit Estimated Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000 (per FAR 36.204) Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order Set-Aside: 100% Small Business NAICS Code: 238170 Siding Contractors Size Standard: $19 million Requirements for Bidders Scope Familiarization: Contractor shall conduct a thorough field investigation for the project. Inspection shall identify and document existing site conditions, specifically the location of all utilities (i.e., electric, water, sewer, gas etc.) or shared systems (Example: HVAC, Fire Suppression, Network) to identify any conditions that may be affected by work. o All materials, supplies, and equipment (MSE) must be new. The Contractor shall not re-use any existing MSE, unless directed to by the SOW. o Provide supervision to ensure United States Coast Guard Standards are met for Quality and Safety. o Maintain a clean working area. o Protect adjacent areas during roofing eave / soffit repairs/replacement. o Provide signage to clearly indicate the area is under construction. o Remove and disposal of all damaged roofing eaves / soffit.
