The Contract involves furnishing all labor and materials required to install and/or to help create two (2) rock riffles with plunge pools to protect sewer crossings and rehabilitate Gregory Creek. The right is reserved by the County to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best Bid, and to hold Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the Bids and Bidders. The Scope of Work for the Gregory Creek Stream Rehabilitation Project at Two Exposed Sewer Crossings includes 7240385_specs_20250910002658_66... : Erosion Control - Install and maintain perimeter stormwater erosion prevention measures, silt fences, and inlet protection. Clearing & Grubbing - Tree clearing limited to October 1 to March 31; minimize disturbance outside limits of work. Excavation & Mass Grading - Construct proposed stream channel by excavation, form benches and slopes, stockpile native stream gravels for reuse. Rock Installation - Install rock riffles with plunge pools, bioengineered rock armoring, transition rock, and buried rock tie-ins to protect sewer crossings. Planting & Seeding - Restore disturbed areas with riparian native seed mix; replace damaged lawns with lawn seed mix specified by Owner. Restoration - Immediately restore disturbed areas after grading; maintain erosion control until stabilization is complete; reseed as needed. Access & Site Protection - Improve and restore road conditions, gates, and fencing used for access; coordinate staging and stockpiling areas; protect control points. Environmental & Cultural Protection - Prevent spread of invasive species (equipment must not have been used in zebra mussel-infested waters within 15 days). Cease operations and notify Owner if historical/archaeological deposits are found. Final Stabilization - Remove temporary erosion/sediment controls within 14 days after final stabilization; site must be left in equal or better condition than before construction. eadline for Questions: Requests must be received at least 7 days prior to the bid opening.
