Dakota Dunes Maintenance Facility - Bid Issuance #2 Construction of a new 60-feet by 160-feet pre-engineered wood building and other work indicated in the drawings and specifications. Bidding Documents may be obtained from online. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with online as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or online in either electronic or paper format. The digital portal will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through online. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from online. Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted by the Bidder in writing and shall be received by the Builder at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Project Description Mr. Dane Ekdom, P.E. of ISG, presented project information in emails on May 2, 2025, June 20, 2025, and July 28 and 30, 2025. An email on May 2, 2025, included a plan titled, Project Location Exhibit and dated May 1, 2025. Additional information was provided in a Teams meeting on May 9, 2025, which included representatives from ISG, L&L Builders and the Dakota Dunes CID. An additional email from Mr. Ekdom on May 21, 2025, included plans titled, Site Plan and Tree Removal Exhibit, which indicated the location of the proposed structure as well as an anticipated tree removal plan. An email on June 20, 2025, included a plan titled, Soil Boring Exhibit dated June 20, 2025, which indicated the most recent project layout. The email on July 28, 2025, included boring elevation information. The email on July 30, 2025, included a drawing the was titled, Sand Enclosure Wall & Foundation and a sketch that was titled, Sand Bins. CTS understands that the project will consist of a new maintenance facility consisting of a new building, sand enclosure and associated PCC pavement and gravel all-weather areas. It is further understood that the area was covered in trees that were to be removed at the time of our fieldwork.
