As of October 10, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Edwards County CUSD 1, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Should the bidder withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the bid date without written consent of the Owner, or fail to execute a satisfactory contract within ten (10) days after the written Notice of Award, the Owner may declare the bid deposit forfeited as liquidated damages. Contractors receiving award shall be required to furnish an approved Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount which shall be in full force and effect for twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance of the work. Bonds shall be furnished within three (3) days following the date of execution of the Contract. The Edwards County CUSD 1 School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive informality or errors in bidding, to award the contract to their interests, and to hold the bids for a period of thirty (30) days from the bid date.
