Project awarded to Sicalco LTD The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and apply Calcium Chloride Liquid to various locations for dust control operations in the Gainesville Area Headquarters (AHQ) and Manassas Area Headquarters (AHQ) in VDOT Nova District, Prince William Residency. Question Deadline 09/24/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Deanna Wayland at Deanna.Wayland@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. One year (1) from date of award with four (4) optional one (1) year renewals The Contractor shall not park equipment along the right of way or in Virginia Department of Transportation yards without the prior approval from the Virginia Department of Transportation Contract Administrator or designee. Each piece of equipment offered may be subject to inspection by Virginia Department of Transportation . Virginia Department of Transportation reserves the right to reject any offered equipment. The Contractor shall provide Calcium Chloride, minimum 38% in liquid form, at the proper concentration as indicated in the bid and furnish adequate labor and application equipment to properly apply the solution to the road surfaces. Virginia Department of Transportation reserves the right to cancel orders 30 days prior to the application date.
