The Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all necessary labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, conveyances, mobilization, and demobilization to replace irrigation taps No. 4 and No. 13 including removal of an abandoned tap west of Tap No. 13 located on the Kearney Canal, which begins approximately one and one-half (1-1/2) miles east of Elm Creek, Nebraska, and ends in Kearney, Nebraska, and all other requirements as specified in these Contract Documents. Following the pre-bid meeting all prospective Bidders will then visit both sites. The purpose of the site visits will be to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract specifications and to familiarize the Bidder with the project site layout. It is imperative that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. Bids will not be accepted from any Bidder not in attendance at the pre-bid meeting. Tap No. 4 is located approximately 0.40 miles east of Evergreen Road and 0.60 miles west of Dove Hill Avenue. Coordinates of Tap No. 4 are 40.69977_N and 99.19029_W. Tap No. 13 is located approximately 200 feet west of 30th Avenue. Coordinates of Tap No. 13 are 40.70086_N and 99.12295_W. The bid submitted for Tap No. 13 shall include the removal of the abandoned tap in accordance with the scope of work included herein. The abandoned tap is located approximately 90 feet west of Tap 13. Coordinates of the abandoned tap are 40.70080_N and 99.12326_W.
