Renovation of a water / sewer project in Whitesville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Town of Independence invites bids for the replacement of pipe, fittings and accessories at it's water plant. All other questions should be directed to Thomas Swift, P.E. at tswift@cplteam.com or (716) 498-1709. Statement of Non-Collusion: Bidders on the contracts are required to execute a non-collusive bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Sales and Use of Tax Exemptions: The Town of Independence is exempt from the payment of sales and compensation use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all materials, equipment, and supplies sold to the Town pursuant to this contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the supplier of materials, equipment, and supplies to be sold to the Town pursuant to this contract. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid. All bids shall be binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The Town of Independence reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein
