The Flathead County Solid Waste District is requesting Statement of Qualifications from subtitle D landfill rule compliance assurance professional engineering firms, qualified in the field of solid waste engineering and permitting, to provide general engineering services to the Flathead County Landfill/Solid Waste District pursuant to the requirements of Section 18-8-201 et seq., M.C.A. Services needed include subtitle D compliance assurance, permitting, site development planning, strategic planning, fill sequence planning, soil management planning, groundwater and leachate management, gas collection system design and management, alternative final cap design, closure planning, post closure care, quality assurance services and waste diversion planning. The selected firm will be expected to enter into a five (5) year contract. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
