Renovation of a municipal facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Reference Number 0000307625 The work involves replacing the three ICAO cooling towers located on the building's roof. The project includes the complete replacement of all related piping and the pumps located directly below them in the 16th-floor mechanical room. The chillers will be retained as they were recently replaced. The rooftop basin beneath the towers will also be completely rebuilt. The work will be carried out in two phases to ensure continuity of cooling service. 1. Phase 1 (early October 2026 to early April 2027): Replacement of towers TRF-002 and TRF-003, with TRF-001 remaining in temporary operation as a backup. 2. Phase 2 (early April to July 2027): Replacement of TRF-001, with the new TRF-002 and TRF-003 in operation. A low-risk quote will be issued for handling the asbestos cement storm drain pipes. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Question Acceptance Deadline Dec 02, 2025 02:00 PM EST Individuals without appropriate PPE will not be permitted access to the site. Failure by a bidder to attend the mandatory site visit, to register properly, to sign the BGIS site visit registration form and to remain present for the entire duration of the visit, gives BGIS the right, at its sole discretion, to reject the bidder's offer.
