Renovation of a power facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
SEP Program: DBE SEP %: 17.00 Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has established a contracting opportunity for the supply and installation of electrical equipment at sixteen (16) Traction Power Substations (TPSS), four (4) Tie-Breaker Stations (TBS), and one (1) DC Switchboard Room to accommodate the additional power capacity as required for the State of Good Repair Programs. The resultant contract, if awarded, will be federally funded. You are hereby invited to submit to WMATA a proposal to furnish all labor, materials, and any other related items required for the performance of Contract No. FRBIR233152. Price and Technical Proposals as well as Contractual documents described herein shall be submitted as separate electronic files through the PMSS (Procore) by the specified closing time on the date of closing. Once the date and time for proposal submission has closed, Proposer will be unable to upload their proposal to Procore. Offeror shall notify William Geroux, Contract Administrator with an email sent to wgeroux@wmata.com. The overall Scope of Work for the State of Good Repair, BidBuild contract at sixteen (16) Traction Power Sub-Stations, four (4) Tie-Breaker Stations (TBS), and one (1) DC Switchboard Room is as follows and more specifically outlined in the Technical Specifications and Contract Drawings.
