Location 1: Museum mill & overlay - The work to be completed is as follows: 1. Supply and install new hot mix asphalt at Museum, located at 6502-44 Ave in Stettler. Mill and overlay new hot mix asphalt to a depth of 75 mm. Contractors will be required to mill and pave +/- 970 square meters. 3-inch depth (75 mm) is desirable and must be tied into existing asphalt. Location 2: New Firehall - The work to be completed is as follows: 1. Supply and install new hot mix asphalt on south end of building, located at 4204-38th street in Stettler. Pavement will extend out from existing concrete pad. Trim out existing crushed gravel base to a depth of 150 mm and dispose of gravel. Reshaping, minor grade work, and compaction of area prior to paving will be required. Contractors will be required to pave +/- 240 square meters. 6-inch depth (150 mm) is desirable to help support the large fire trucks in this location. Location 3: Interpipeline approach access - The work to be completed is as follows: 1. Supply, place, and compact new hot mix asphalt for Interpipeline approach access, located along Range Road 203 (field office). Trim out existing crushed gravel base to a depth of 150 mm and dispose of gravel. Shape and compact existing suitable and acceptable crushed gravel base to prepare for paving. Contractors will be required to pave +/- 210 square meters. 6-inch depth (150 mm) of hot mix asphalt is desirable to help support the large trucks in this location. Location 4: Gadsby 2nd Street Repair 1. Saw cut perimeter of area to be repaired, excavate/remove existing +/- 0.075m pavement and +/-1.0m of structural material down to a suitable base. 8-meter-wide excavation requested. 2. Reconstruct Road. Clay backfill topped with a geotextile layer, topped with 0.3m of pit run, 0.15m of 3/4 inch granular base course. Material volumes measured compacted in place @ 98% SPD. 3. Prepare base, prime and re-pave. 165m long, 6 meter wide, 0.075-meter-thick ACP top, with a standard 2% crown.
