The scope of the project is to improve the electrical distribution system to provide necessary circuits to installed building equipment to support mission needs. Base bid work in the Old Bay will include upgrading wash bay lighting, switching out an overhead light, and installing a dedicated circuit on our existing Bauer Compressor so we can use the pressure washer and air compressor outlets simultaneously. Add Alternatives will also be included to upgrade existing lighting to LEDs in various rooms/hallways and increase overall building efficiency. Provide all design, engineered drawings, materials, equipment, permits, tools, labor, travel, licenses, insurance, disposal, and all other expenses to complete the project detailed herein. The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract. The apparent successful bidder must execute the said contract and bonds within fifteen calendar days, or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Contracting Officer, after receiving notification of the acceptance of their bid. To be responsive, a bid must include a bid BOND equal to 5% of the amount bid. (When calculating the bid amount for purposes of determining the 100% value of the bid guaranty, a bidder shall include its base bid amount, plus the amount bid for alternate and supplemental bid items, if any.
