Renovation of a road / highway in Walker, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.
The total project cost is $1.2 Million. The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Intersection improvements including traffic signals, concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter, HMA pavement, earthwork, storm sewer, permanent signs and pavement markings. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for with local funds. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Walker in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of thirty (30) days after the receipt of bids. Contract documents may be examined online or at the offices of: City of Walker, 4243 Remembrance Road NW, Walker, MI Prein&Newhof, 3355 Evergreen Drive NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 Question Deadline 10/02/2025 Questions to be addressed in the addendum will be received through 5:00 p.m. five (5) business days prior to the bid.
