The project will be in Northwest Douglas County and is intended to include different athletic facilities to meet the recreational sports needs of the Countys residents in alignment with the Investment and Public Engagement Strategy for the Parks, Trails, Historic Resources and Open Space Fund. The proposed site is four (4) miles south of C-470, west of US Highway 85, east of the Sterling Ranch master plan community, and off Waterton Road (see Exhibit A).
