Reference Number 0000398136 The Road Commission for Oakland County is requesting proposals for Gravel Road Approach Paving Rose Twp. and Springfield Twp., to include all labor, equipment and materials needed to complete the repairs as specified. Lump-sum proposal pricing. Must submit a breakdown for each location with lump-sum bid. The project consists of the following specifications: 1. Springfield Township - Bridge Lake Road and Rattalee Lake Road intersection a. Place approximately 320 feet of B2 spill in curb and gutter (see attached detail). b. Place two concrete spillways. c. Place approximately 390 tons of 4E3 HMA in 2 lifts (see attached drawings for breakdown). Contractor will need to set curb and gutter forms, place the curb then pave asphalt. Contractor will need to provide their own flagging and traffic control. RCOC will prepare grade for curb and gutter and asphalt paving. RCOC will also remove existing asphalt and curb as needed on the south leg of Bridge Lake Road. 2. Rose Township paving gravel approaches - Hensel Road at Davisburg Road and Terrace Road at Davisburg Road a. Place approximately 330 feet of B2 spill in curb and gutter (see attached detail). b. Place one concrete spillway. c. Place approximately 158 tons of 4E3 HMA in 2 lifts (see attached drawings for each location breakdown). Contractor will need to set curb and gutter forms, place the curb and then pave asphalt. Contractor will need to provide their own flagging and traffic control. RCOC will prepare grade for curb and gutter an asphalt paving. Attached drawings, location and curb details are for reference only and quantities could vary. RCOC would like to have these completed in the 2025 season. Site Visit/Job Walk Site visits are encouraged but not required prior to bidding.
