The work is as follows: upgrades to the existing wastewater treatment facility located on Dogwood Road, including sitework, concrete, steel structures, piping, mechanical and electrical items as per the plans and specifications. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Marshall County Board of Supervisors, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Marshall County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. It is the intent of the specifications that all aspects of the work including workmanship, methods and materials of construction shall conform to the best practice and that the equipment and accessories as furnished and installed shall be complete and ready to operate. C. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing, installing and testing all materials and equipment required for the construction of this project. All components shall be designed and proportioned to provide adequate strength and stability for their intended use and shall be especially adapted for their function and environment.
