Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Madison, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Provide all labor, materials, tools, and services necessary for the demolition and disposal of the existing floor at the Madison City Gymnasium. Furnish, deliver and install a complete wood floor system in the same space. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft in the amount of five percent (5%) or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the TOTAL BID in manner and form as by law provided. The sum of a certified check, cashier's check or draft or bid bond is a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date bids are received and no bid may be withdrawn during this period. The Board also reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
