If agreed upon in writing by both parties to the contract, the contract may be extended for an additional period of time not to exceed the original contract time period. The extended contract will be for the original bid quantities, terms and conditions plus any applicable change orders. This contract includes non-site specific work. Multiple concurrent work orders will be issued to procure work of the type identified in the contract at locations that have not yet been determined. For each repair, the Engineer will determine the work to be done and specify this on the work order issued to the Contractor. This includes determining whether the guardrail and associated elements will be upgraded to current standards or not. Each work order may consist of up to 10 different locations. Only one (1) mobilization shall be paid for each work order. Provide a minimum of twenty-four (24) hour notice prior to performing work to the requesting Maintenance Section or appropriate contact person.
