Renovation of a municipal facility in McKinney, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of 11/25/2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award was not determined. SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES all materials, labor, equipment and services to produce or be incorporated in such construction. Contract will be a general contract to furnish and install new controllers to replace the existing Honeywell X50's and install Honeywell XL's and furnish and install Jace 8000 to replace the existing R2 Jaces. This is required to allow for maintenance and the ability to communicate with Collin County's BAS network. Question Deadline 10/09/2025 at 5:00 PM CT Question and Substitution Request Submission Deadline. in order for bidders to ask questions regarding the proposed work BID SECURITY: All Bidders must submit, prior to the bid opening time, a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or acceptable Bid Bond payable without recourse to Collin County in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid plus alternates as submitted. Contractor must furnish a performance bond, payment bond and one (1) year maintenance bond within ten (10) consecutive calendar days following award of contract. The bonds shall be issued by a corporate surety in accordance with all Texas Law, including but not limited to, Chapter 2253 of the Texas Government Code and Chapter 3503 of the Texas Insurance Code, for public works projects. Should the contractor fail to complete the project within the specified completion schedule the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per calendar day will be deducted from the moneys due the contractor for the work. This sum shall not be considered as a penalty, but rather as reasonable liquidated damages, since it would be impracticable or extremely difficult to fix the actual damages. An extension of time may be allowed for delays beyond the control of the contractor at the discretion of Owner. The bidder acknowledges the right of Owner to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received. In addition, the bidder recognizes the right of Owner to reject a bid if the bidder failed to furnish any required Bid Security, or to submit the data required by the Bidding Documents, or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. The full set of architectural floor plans, including all levels, will be provided to the selected contractor
