Site work for a water / sewer project in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids will be accepted until the specified opening time and date. Any bidder attempting to deliver after the opening time and date will be refused. Lead Water Service Line Replacement for residential homes in Rockford, Illinois. This work will consist of approximately 445 Replacements through either open-cut trenching operations or directional boring of the water service line. Existing lines are to be abandoned in place upon successful connection of newly installed pipe. Each bid shall be based on the price of one completed service. Proposed construction improvements include: replacement of existing lead water service lines on both the public and private side of the right-of-way. Public replacements will run from the water main to the right-of-way and private replacements will run from the right-of-way line to the meter connection point.
