As of October 21, 2025, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. All proposals must be made on the forms furnished by the City and the entire set of documents submitted intact. The City of Collinsville reserves the right to not open a sole bid and to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids and to determine which is the lowest and best bid. Replacement of windows and sashes in the farmouse at Willoughby Farm in Collinsville, IL 62234. The work shall consist of labor, materials, and equipment to replace windows and sashes at farmhouse. Willoughby Farm and Conservation Reserve is seeking a contractor to remove the existing windows and sashes in the farmhouse and replace them with new windows. This project will include the materials to remove and replace the windows as well as the labor to do so. Provide and install 19 new windows and sashes including the repair and replacement of any rotten wood on sills and jambs. All caulk and hardware shall be included in the bids. Windows shall have a green vinyl exterior to match the existing exterior trim color on the farmhouse and a stained wood interior. Stain color shall be determined by Willoughby Farm staff. Windows shall be double hung/double tilt with vertical grills on the top half and half screens. Alternate: Include the replacement of the side entrance stormdoor.
