The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to upgrade and install the Lynx Server and wireless duress system at the Bedford VA Medical Center. This includes replacing the existing Lynx Server, adding 1,750 seats, and providing remote assistance for installation. The contractor will also maintain the Lynx Technical Support and software updates through the yearly Lynx SSA. The Lynx System is used on over 1,750 computers for duress alerts via LynxKeyPro and emergency alerts via LynxMessenger. The contractor must supply FDA-approved, new, and fully operational equipment, along with at least two copies of operational/service manuals. All necessary tools, PPE, and infection control measures must be provided. The system must integrate with the Lynx Guide server and include access to technical support, telephone and emergency support, software updates, online support, training via MS Teams or preferred software, and 200 SMS messages per month. Installation must be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and all personnel must comply with VA security and infection control protocols. Personnel must be manufacturer-trained, and documentation of training and certifications may be requested. The contractor must communicate expected server downtime and compensate for delays exceeding 24 hours by extending warranty coverage. Training for MVAMC personnel must include system mechanics, electronics, operations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. A one-year manufacturer's warranty covering parts, labor, travel, and shipping is required. Work must be scheduled with the COR, and equipment delivery must occur no more than 20 days before installation. "Go live" support must follow installation and training. The contractor must comply with all VA security, privacy, and safety standards and demonstrate experience with Micro Technology Services Lynx Alarm components. Background investigations may be required. Any property damage caused by the contractor must be reported and corrected at no cost to the government.
