Site work and paving for a civil project in Iron River, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Oulu is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete the work under the Airport Road Reconstruction Project. The work is the reconstruction of 1.4 miles from the intersection of CTH B to Kaukamo Road. The work generally consists of repairing select sub - grade failure areas, replacement of culverts, pulverizing and relay of existing asphalt, placement of geogrid, gravel, asphalt paving, ditch shaping and grading. All other items and incidental work necessary to complete the project scope as shown on the plans and specifications are included. This project is partially funded by the Wisconsin Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP). Project will be substantially complete by September 15, 2026. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All bids must be prepared on the form provided for that purpose and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidder. The Town of Oulu reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept bids most advantageous to the Town of Oulu.
