All work shall be continuous and the number of allowable work days shall be 100 days. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1,000 The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. Interpretations All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract document shall be submitted to the Commissioner in writing. Replies shall be issued by Addenda, mail, or delivery to all parties recorded by the Commissioner as having received the bidding documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda shall be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications shall be without legal effect. The true intent of the contract documents is to provide for the construction, execution, and completion in every detail of a complete work or improvement which the Contractor undertakes to do in full compliance with the contract documents and in accordance with recognized engineering and construction principles. The contractor shall perform all items of work covered and stipulated in the proposal and perform altered and extra work, all in accordance with the lines, grades, typical sections, and dimensions given and shall furnish, unless otherwise provided in the contract documents, all material, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, electric power and labor necessary to the prosecution and completion of the work. Location of Underground Structures It is the responsibility of the Contractor to become acquainted with the location of all underground structures which may be encountered or which may be affected by work under the contract. The locations of any underground structures furnished, shown on the plans, or given on the site are based upon the available records but are not guaranteed to be complete or correct and are given only to assist the Contractor in making a determination of the location of all underground structures. The Contractor understands and acknowledges that the City is not responsible for any representations made by it to the Contractor relating to the location or dimensions of underground structures.
