Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Surrey, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a six-story above grade, 60-unit multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Proposed build project to accommodate 40 shelter beds and 60 supportive housing units. The new construction must achieve a minimum provincial Energy Step Code 4, a GHGI under 3 (Zero Carbon Step Code), and comply with BC Housing Design and Construction Standards and BC Housing Commissioning Guidelines. TIMELINE: Negotiated Request for Proposals seeking an experienced Lead Consultant to provide architectural design services for the project has closed and a preferred proponent has yet to be identified. The successful Proponent will act as the Lead Architect and coordinating professional, hired by BC Housing. The Architect will be responsible for all stages of project development including schematic design, design development, construction documents, tendering, (i.e., preparing drawing package and specification, etc.), payment certification, contract administration during construction closeout and, warranty review phase. Further update in summer 2026, pending selection of a preferred proponent.
