Renovation of a mixed-use development in Stanton, Iowa. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

A bond calls for a new fire alarm system, a new intercom system, with the new entry into the building, there would some renovation of classrooms on the inside with that, and then ADA compliance and restrooms. Other plans call for air condition system, new boilers, an air handling unit, VAC work in the gymnasium. This project is part of the school district’s bond. As of September 16, 2025, the bond referendum election will be held on November 4, 2025. It is currently unknown if an architect, construction manager, and general contractor have been contracted with the school district. Further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been released.
