** As of 10/27/2025 project has been awarded to Silagy Contracting, LLC with an amount of $573,248.07.** The scope of Work contemplated for the above-named Project includes installation of street trees, tree grates, benches, bicycle racks, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for completion of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within 95 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to the City of Asbury Park ATTN: Tracy Lizard. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of the "City of Asbury Park" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of this Project is required. The City of Asbury Park reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
