Project Introduction/Background: The City of Watauga provides water and sewer service to residents and businesses of Watauga; Texas located in Tarrant County. The installation of the Badger meter system began in the early 2000s. This RFP is seeking the services of a contractor to install/retrofit High Resolution LCD Encoders (HR-E(R) LCD) and ORION(R) Cellular endpoints on 8,526 meters. 8,263- 5/8" x 3/4 ", 121- 1" and 114- 2", 6- 1 1/2 ", 2- 6/8" within 150 CALENDAR DAYS of commencement. This RFP requests your proposal for the following: Existing change out. o Replace or modify existing meter box covers and boxes as necessary. o Install High Resolution LCD Encoders (HR-E(R) LCD) and ORION(R) Cellular endpoints o Replace/install new Recordall(R) Disc Series meters or E-Series G2(R) Ultrasonic water meters as directed by project managers.
