A cashier's check, a certified check or a surety bond for five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. The bid bond for this bid shall be based on an estimated annual first year Work Order amount of $3,000,000.00. Bidders agree to commence Work within thirty (30) calendar days after issuance of a Work Order, and to complete the same within the calendar days listed in the Work Order. The City of Claremore reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities. Contractor must have extensive experience with overhead electrical infrastructure construction. Each bid submitted by mail must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to CITY OF CLAREMORE, ATTN.: GRADY LEMONS, FINANCE DEPARTMENT 104 S. MUSKOGEE AVE, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA 74017 Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside as "SB-2025-3" and the envelope should bear on the outside the bidder's name, address and license number, if applicable, and the name of the Project for which the bid is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to FINANCE DEPARTMENT at 104 S. Muskogee Ave, Claremore, OK 74017 A performance bond, a maintenance bond and a payment/statutory bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Work Order price, exceeding $100,000.00. Each shall contain a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The term of this contract is expected to commence October 20th, 2025 and shall be in effect until June 30th, 2026. The Claremore Public Works Authority/City of Claremore (Owner) may offer the bidder an opportunity to renew this agreement up to an additional two (2) one (1) year terms.
