Renovation of a mixed-use development in Argyle, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Owner, the Argyle Central School District will receive sealed bids to furnish material and labor to complete the 2025-2026 Capital Outlay which includes alterations. Each bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: Contract No. 01 General Construction Work Prime Contract (GC) This project consists of work associated with the removal and providing of door leafs, select frames and all associated hardware. Wi-Fi locksets to be salvaged and reinstalled. Select areas of fire glazing replacement in door leafs. It is the intention of this Project to be both environmentally and fiscally conscious of paper use and consumption. Therefore, documents will be distributed as digital sets. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Argyle Central School District. Bidder must provide Bid Security in the amount and form, per the terms indicated in Section Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days following the receipt of Bids. The Owner may, in its sole discretion, reject any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, as the Owner being exempt therefrom. Bidders must comply with New York Sate Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. This project is publicly funded. The Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. The Argyle Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, and/ or to reject all Bids without explanation. . Work is scheduled to commence upon award of bids and no later than 11/01/2025. 2. All work will be required to be completed no later than 6/30/2026. a. It will be required to coordinate schedule for work with the occupancy of the buildings. 3. December Recess is scheduled to occur 12/20/2025 - 1/4/2026, District request to do majority of the work during this scheduled break.
