PROJECT DESCRIPTION Project shall consist of existing single-ply roof membrane overlay and existing Rooftop Unit replacement as described in the bidding documents. ALTERNATE BID NO. 1: Replace existing RTU 14 (Main Gym/Area C) and associated interior ductwork insulation - existing ductwork shall remain ALTERNATE BID NO. 2: Replace existing RTU 15 (Superintendent's Office/Area D) Construction Duration- June 1, 2026 - July 24, 2026 Project Location: Central Community High School District 71, 7740 Old U.S. Highway 50, Breese, Illinois. Bid Security is required in the amount of Ten percent (10%) of Proposal, made payable unconditionally to the Owner. Security shall be certified check, cashier's check or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Within ten (10) days after notification of award of contract, the successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder using a form similar to the AIA 312 Form, or one acceptable to Owner. The Performance Bond will become a part of the Contract.
