The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the Owner. The major items of work include a well drilling, well logging, setting casing and screens, cementing, pump installation and development testing, electrical upgrades and controls, and well plugging. An acceptable Surety Proposal Bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the largest possible total bid, including consideration of alternates, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute the Owner-Contractor Agreement and bonds in the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required.
