Site work for a water / sewer project in Floresville, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of construction of approximately 2,980 feet of 12-inch gravity sanitary sewer and 1,036 feet of 6-inch forced main sanitary sewer by both open cut and trenchless methods. Construction includes a bored crossing of US 181. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The City of Floresville expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities. A Bidder's failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and researching bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. Envelopes should be sealed and clearly marked: Bid Documents: US 181 Sewer Extension Bids will be received for a single Contract. Bids shall be provided on a unit price basis.
