Description

Site work, paving and new construction of an educational facility in Stephenville, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for paving for a educational facility.

This new medical classroom learning facility will support the new College of Osteopathic Medicine program. It is planned to be located on Tarleton property, north of campus, and to include stand-alone utilities with generator backup. The space program features several flat classrooms for hands-on training on simulation units, as well as cadavers. The facility will feature office spaces, several research labs, and a student support area. This project is included in the Texas A&M University (TAMU) System Board of Regents that approved a $6.6 billion, five-year System Capital Plan, guiding the system’s critical infrastructure and system decisions for the immediate future. The budgeting document includes nearly $2 billion in new projects that will be implemented between 2026 and 2030, with plans to initiate $830.6 million in projects in 2026 alone. The remaining $4.6 billion consists of previously approved projects that are either in the design or construction phases. As of October 13, 2025, it is currently unknown to when a design firm, construction manager, and general contractor will be contracted with the University. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been released.
