Renovation of a multi-residential development in Southington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Southington Housing Authority General Pulaski Improvements & Upgrades. A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, must be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Southington Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder. A 100% Performance, Labor and Material Bond is also required. All sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS circular 570. The attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of DavisBacon wages, compliance with certain local, state and federal requirements including but not limited to Section 3. This is a Federally funded project. The Town of Southington and the Southington Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities, or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Town of Southington and the Southington Housing Authority. All bids will be considered valid for a period of sixty (60) days. An affirmative Action/equal opportunity employer mbe's, wbe's, sbe's and section 3 designated Enterprises are encouraged to apply A. The work of this Division shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: 1. Demolition of heat pump systems, refrigerant piping, drain piping and accessories. 2. Installation of ductless split system heat pump units, refrigerant piping, condensate drain piping, insulation and controls. 3. Installation of accessories including support pads and pipe concealing system, etc. as shown on plans.
