The City of Plano is soliciting a low bid to install two commemorative monuments on the planter walls at either end of the Legacy Drive bridge over the Dallas North Tollway. Each monument features an aluminum structural frame anchored to the existing footings and clad in stone veneer. Bronze plaques and lettering honoring Ross Perot are affixed to the stone, and each monument is crowned by a bronze eagle and perch, securely fastened to the internal framework. The scope of work also includes monument up-lighting, implementation of traffic-control measures, and adjustments and repairs to the existing irrigation systems. Procurement personnel will be available Mondays and Wednesdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The person delivering the bid/proposal must call (972) 941-7557 upon arrival during those hours and wait in the lobby for someone to meet them to receive their bid/proposal.
