Site work for a civil project in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

This project consists of the construction of a new traffic control signal and associated traffic operational improvements at the intersection of SW 24th Avenue and SW 122nd Street. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond (Submittals) payable to the County for an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The County will, within ten (10) days after the opening of the Bids, return deposits of all Bidders except those posted by the three lowest Bidders, whose deposits will be returned upon final award and execution of the contract between the successful Bidder and the County, and after a satisfactory contract Bond has been executed. Substantial Completion: 110 Days Liquidated Damages Substantial Completion: $1,685 Final Completion: 30 Days Liquidated Damages Final Completion: $843.50 If the successful Bidder, for any reason whatsoever, withdraws from competition after the opening of the Bids, or fails or refuses to execute the contract and Bond within ninety (90) days after the Bidder has received notice of acceptance of their Bid, the Bidder shall forfeit to the County their Bid security deposit as liquidated damages for such withdrawal, failure or refusal. In the aforementioned situation, the successful Bidder shall be responsible to the Board of County Commissioners for the additional cost of said project, if any. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Bid Price will be required of the successful bidder. No interpretation of the bid will be made to any interested bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation shall be made in writing, via the question and answer tab. Any interpretation to a Bidder will be made only by addendum; duly issued, and a copy of such addendum will be posted to the online. Oral answers will not be authoritative. All addenda so issued shall become part of the bid documents. The County may allow alterations, modifications, or revisions to individual elements of the successful bid at any time during the period of the contract which results from this Bid.
