Remove old chlorinator system and install duplex sodium hypochlorite feed pump skid, drum containment, suction piping to drum storage, and discharge piping with injection assemblies to chemical dosing locations as shown. Provide all electrical and controls as shown in the engineering plans to furnish a complete and operable system. The Substantial Completion is defined as 240 days of the date on the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages are applicable and begin after the Substantial Completion date with Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,250 per calendar day are to apply after this date. Ready for Final Payment Date is to be thirty (30) days after Substantial Completion Date based on scheduled Substantial Completion, or as adjusted by Change Orders. Liquidated damages after Ready for Final Payment Date of $250 per calendar day are to apply. Liquidated damages are cumulative if damages from Substantial Completion date and Ready for Final Payment date overlap. In addition, Special Damages, fines, or Set-Off may also apply per Bid/Agreement Documents. The Village of Oak Brook reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technical error and to accept any bid deemed most favorable to the interests of the Village of Oak Brook. In addition to price, the Village will consider: Ability, capacity, and skill to fulfill the contract as specified. Ability to supply the commodities, provide the services or complete the construction promptly, or within the time specified, without delay or interference. Character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience, and efficiency. Quality of performance on previous contracts. Previous and existing compliance with laws and ordinances relating to the contract. Sufficiency of financial resources. Quality, availability and adaptability of the commodities, services, or construction, in relation to the Village's requirements. Ability to provide future maintenance and service under the contract. Number and scope of conditions attached to the bid/proposal. Record of payments for taxes, licenses, or other monies due to the Village.
