Renovation of a municipal facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Electrical Build & Installation RTA is requesting quotation for service to remove and install UPS. RTA is requesting a licensed electrical contractor to remove and install a UPS system. The old UPS is an Eaton Model 9170+ with a 9170+ Extended Battery cabinet rack connected via an Eaton Model BPE-20 Transfer Switch. Contact RTA for physical walk through of the devices and location. The job will be broken down in two (2) phases: Phase 1 : We would like to have both the Service Bypass and the New 9PXM UPS system installed. Firstly, we need a scheduled shutdown of all the equipment that is currently being powered by the circuit to be performed by another vendor requiring coordination of dates of when the old UPS will be dismantled and taken off-line. At the point where we have the shutdown completed, we would like to have both the new bypass switch (mounted on wall) and the new UPS installed in the similar location. When the circuit is de-energized, and it is safe to remove and disconnect the old bypass Switch BPE-20 and old UPS (Eaton 9170), the new BPM (Bypass switch cabinet) and UPS (9PXM and battery cabinet) shall be connected, placed, and mounted in similar places with the appropriate cables/conduit and connectors. RTA plans to power the computer cabinets with utility power until the UPS turn-up date
