Reference Number 0000398899 The City of Greeley, Colorado is requesting sealed bids for the repair of a concrete effluent channel at the Bellvue Water Treatment plant at 4505 Filter Plant Rd Bellvue, CO 80512. The scope of services shall include repair coating system application to approximately 2,000 square feet of concrete and steel deck surfaces of the Bellvue Water Filter Plant effluent channel. Repair of the concrete channel will consist of surface preparation and cleaning, trowel on product application, sprayed topcoat product application, and final cleanup of the work area. Product specifications and application requirements can be found in the Method of Procedures (MOP) in exhibit A. Contractor will be responsible for maintaining environmental conditions as required in the specified product data. Work outside of the outlined MOP is expected and the City's desire is to bill this work on a time and materials basis. Each bid shall be accompanied, by a certified check drawn on a bank which is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance corporation or a bidder's bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Colorado, made payable to the City of Greeley, Colorado, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal sum as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract to construct this project in accordance with the plans and specifications, and give bonds in the sum as hereafter provided. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned. The successful responsive and responsible bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond in the amount of the contract sum. The contractor must be able to complete construction during planned shutdown window anticipated to be April 1st 2026 to May 30th 2026. The time frame may be adjusted at the discretion of the City in discussion with the contractor to meet operational constraints and demands. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening on the bids without the consent of the City of Greeley, Colorado, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of the receiving the bids.
