Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Dover, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of constructing and reconstructing pedestrian curb ramp areas and associated Street improvements. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: O installation and/or reconstruction of concrete sidewalk and pavement surfaces. O construction of ada-compliant curb ramps, including detectable warning surfaces. O installation and/or reconstruction of granite curbing. Construction of landscaped areas, including preparation of planting beds (turf establishment). O installation of lighting bases. O installation of underground electrical conduit for site lighting. O installation of signal (rrfb) foundations and bases. O installation of new catch basins, drain piping, and adjustment of existing utility frames and covers to final grade. The construction services shall begin following award and approval by city council in october 2025. The completion date must support cbdg funding requirements, specifically: 1. Invoicing for substantial completion must be received no later than april 10, 2026. Bonds required for projects over $125,000.00 a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid price must accompany the bid. Payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of the project will be required from the winning vendor as listed in attachment a for bonding requirements. The city of dover reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the city; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the city to do so.
