The contractor will be given 30 calendar days to complete the work. In the event that weather conditions prevent the contractor from carrying out certain work, it may be postponed until spring 2026 with the prior agreement of the MRC. No price increases will be accepted for work postponed to 2026. Between the date the contract is awarded and the date set by the Contractor to begin the work, the Contractor must send the Project Owner all shop drawings, the list of subcontractors, signage plans, detour and bypass plans, and the legal documents required by the contract. It is understood that the date of completion of the work is the date on which the Supervising Engineer is invited by the Contractor to carry out the final inspection of the work for provisional acceptance and that all deficiencies noted by the Supervising Engineer during the previous inspection, if any, have been corrected.
