A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of District 10 to establish a contract for the onetime purchase of materials, labor, equipment and all incidentals to replace the entire existing ballasted roofing system at Mercer County WVDOH headquarters with a fully adhered membrane roofing system at 454 New Hope Road Princeton WV 24740. Per the Bid Requirements, Specifications, Terms and Conditions attached to this solicitation. Restore metal decking to match existing decking Removal of existing ballasted roof - Contractor must remove the existing ballast rock and dispose of it at an approved location. ii. Contractor must remove and properly dispose of all built-up roofing materials down to the decking. iii. Contractor must remove existing roofing system down to metal decking at a minimum 13,200 square feet equivalent to (132 square) ofroofing. All measurements on roof size and additional components, i.e.: gutters, downspouts, etcetera are estimates only to be used for the bidding purpose. Vendor will be responsible for verifying all measurements prior to bidding and actual needs will be provided, whether it is greater or less than stated. Installation of new Fully Adhered EPDM system- Contractor must mechanically fasten a low-rise foam, a minimum of 2.5" Polyisocyanurate, or equal insulation, 1/8" slope per foot, fully tapered insulation ofthe entire roof area to slope towards the roofs edge. Average R-Value of tapered insulation shall be R-25 at a minimum. Add wood blocking as necessary, at perimeters to maintain a constant perimeter edge height equal to or above the maximum height oftapered insulation. 1. The low-rise foam shall have a cover ofwood OSB with a minimum thickness of inch. The wood sheeting shall be mechanically fastened. 2. Roofing must be at IBC code at minimum in all areas. Install approximately Five+ (5+) EPDM Pads around existing rooftop penetrations to protect roof from foot traffic due to maintenance of equipment. 1. The low-rise foam shall have a cover ofwood OSB with a minimum thickness of inch. The wood sheeting shall be mechanically Completion- 45 working days fastened. 2. Roofing must be at IBC code at minimum in all areas. 1. Location ofthe EPDM pads will be determined during the pre-bid meeting. 2. EPDM roles, widths and lengths, that minimize the number ofjoints shall be used.
